             BACK STORY -  THEIR FATHER DROWNED IN LAKE MICHIGAN BEFORE ARTHUR WAS BORN. THEIR MOTHER COULDN'T SPEAK OR
            UNDERSTAND
ENGLISH. THE CHILDREN WERE PUT IN DIFFERENT HOMES. RONALD TOOK THE NAME ENNIS, AND FRANK THE NAME BAKER.
            CHARLES, LOUISE AND ARTHUR WERE WITH A FAMILY NAMED MOUSSEAU, AT LA VALLE, WISCONSIN. THEY KEPT THE KRASKA NAME.

                                                            FINDING Ronald Joseph "Roni" KRASKA

         A story my dad  {James Charles Kraska 1913-1999} would tell: "grandpa Kraska {Charles Francis 1886-1951}
         tried to find his siblings. He heard there was a possibility that one of his brothers lived near Montello  {Montello
         is in Marquette County, Wisconsin and about 62 miles from Richland Center where grandpa Kraska lived} so he
         took the train over there. When he got there he asked at the train station if they knew of a Ronald or Roni Kraska
         that lived in the area. Was told "NO" but there was a Roni Ennis that lived up the road and also told  that the guy
          up the road looks just like you. Grandpa went to the place and found his brother Roni".

                                       And so Charles children's now had their UNCLE RONI!

           I have always thought that was such a neat story - Mary Kraska Gillingham 12/22/2020
            Note: Added the {notes} to clarify the story. DBT
