Without a cemetery plat, I
used the natural Sections (divided by the roads)
and lettered as Section A, Section B, Section C and Section D.
Sections A and B the rows run
North to South and the higher the Photo number
the further South. The lower the photo number the close to Co
Hwy B.
Example If I was
looking for the Bouton marker (B-R04-007) or other words
Section B (on the left side of the road as you
enter), and Row 4 is closest
to the Fence and on the web when the photo link is
clicked you can see the
-007 for photo number (you do NOT see the photo
number in the text)
which means it is closest to Highway B
(towards the gate).
Sections C and D the
rows run West to East, but unlike the other two sections,
the lots are easier to see thus the number after the Row number
is the lot number
followed by the photo number.
Example If I was
looking for the BRITTAIN marker (D-R16-5-03) or other words
Section D (on the right side of the grass road
as you enter), Row 16, which
is the next to the last row (no need to count
1,2,3 just go to the end and back
off one row) and the 5 is Lot 5, which is one
lot over from the fence line.
The photo number is 03 (need to click on the
web to see photo & lot numbers) but
Sections C & D the photo number is hardly
needed to find the marker due to the lot
being listed.
